The challenge

Yorkshire Property Prep recently completed another property preparation job in Halifax, West Yorkshire, for one of our regular property clients. The property needed a thorough clean alongside professional carpet cleaning and extraction, leaving it clean, fresh and ready for its next stage. This was a full property-preparation visit, so several cleaning jobs were completed in the same appointment rather than the client organising different contractors. Carpet cleaning: all agreed carpets were thoroughly vacuumed, pre-treated to help break down embedded dirt and traffic marks, left to work and agitated where needed, then hot-water extracted — with extra passes where necessary — and inspected once finished.

The challenge

We recently completed a full property preparation clean in Sheffield for one of our property-sector clients. The property required a thorough top-to-bottom deep clean alongside professional carpet cleaning, ready for its next stage. Work was completed throughout the property, including the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, living areas, stairs, woodwork, doors, skirting boards and other high-contact surfaces. The carpets were professionally pre-treated, agitated where required and extracted to remove embedded dirt and improve their overall appearance. Once the cleaning was complete, the property was checked throughout, windows were secured, the property was left secure and completion media and reporting were provided to the client.

The challenge

Two downstairs living-room carpets, either side of the staircase, needed cleaning before new tenants moved in. On arrival, both were more heavily soiled than the initial photos had suggested, so they needed extra attention.

What we did

• Assessed both living-room carpets on arrival
• Captured before photos and video to record their condition
• Professionally cleaned both carpets, paying attention to the heavier soiling

• Closed and secured all windows before leaving
• Sent the client a completion and condition report with before-and-after media

The result

Both downstairs carpets came up visibly better despite heavier-than-expected soiling. The client was kept updated, the property was left secure and the work was finished ahead of the incoming tenants' planned Monday arrival.

The challenge

This vacant two-bedroom property needed its final clean after refurbishment work. The kitchen remained the main problem area, with stubborn grease around the former appliance position, while the remaining bedroom, stair and landing carpets needed extraction cleaning and deodorising before handover.

What we did

• Full post-refurbishment clean throughout the vacant property
• Detailed kitchen degreasing, including cupboards, drawers, tiles and the former oven area
• Bathroom, bedrooms, internal windows, skirting and touch points cleaned
• Carpet extraction to two bedrooms, stairs and landing

The result

The property was completed in one managed visit and left ready for handover. The kitchen was fully detailed, the remaining carpets were pre-treated and extracted, and genuine before-and-after photographs and completion footage were captured. Relevant pre-existing condition observations were also documented and shared separately with the property-management client.

The challenge

The living-room and dining-room carpets, sofa and matching pouffe needed a professional refresh after everyday use had left visible marks, general soiling and a tired overall appearance.

• Built-up marks treated where safely possible

The result

The carpets and upholstery were cleaned as one coordinated visit, leaving the two rooms and seating looking fresher, cleaner and more presentable. Marks were treated according to the material and condition, without making unrealistic promises about permanent staining or wear.

The challenge

The built-in double oven and hob required a detailed clean, with grease and cooked-on residue affecting the oven interiors, racks, trays, doors and glass.

• Both oven compartments cleaned internally
• Racks and trays removed and cleaned
• Doors and removable glass detailed
• Hob, controls and exterior surfaces finished

The result

The double oven and hob were cleaned through one carefully managed service, covering the internal cooking areas and the visible exterior details. The finished appliance was left cleaner, grease-free and ready for normal use.
